Happy Anniversary to our gorgeous friends Sarah and Gavin. We filmed their wedding video last year in gorgeous Hawkes Bay (thanks for getting us to travel to this part of New Zealand, it was awesome).

Sarah, Gavin and us: it was like love at first sight. We just clicked. They loved our style, we loved theirs. We understood each other. It was such an incredible experience to go and film a wedding and know that whatever you will do, you will just make it how it should be.

Robin and I got up extra early on the 4th of January, a year ago as he went to join the boys for a bit of a golf session. And this is something we love to talk to our couples about: if you have something planned for the morning of the wedding (or the day before/after on destination weddings), just let us know. We are there and we would love to capture it. Why? Because it is one of the best ways to record moments that are truly you, that represents you in a non-wedding manner and it brings a huge amount of character and uniqueness to your film. We like to believe we film more than just a wedding, we capture the essence of our couples, their personalities, their stories beyond the wedding day.

A year on, I still remember the fun we had on that day. Lots of love and laughter, lots of sun (hot hot sun!) and amazing food… but also amazing MUSIC (we do like our music, don’t we guys?)

So… we would really like to say, from the BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS… Thank you! Thank you both for trusting us, letting us in your lives and for the friendship we have shared ever since.
